Overview

Once you have identified your job family use this section to select job specific KPA’s and competencies for the review period. The information contained in this section has been compiled in consultation with individuals currently employed at UCT in each of the five job families.

Reminder

A KPA (key performance area) is a broad term used to describe distinct areas of responsibility within a role.

A competency is a term that describes the knowledge, skill, attitudes or behaviour required to perform the KPA’s within a role.
