Jammie Shuttle
UCT has a unique shuttle service, the Jammie Shuttle, available to all members of the university community.
In its efforts to be a world-class university, UCT has set very high service standards and requirements with the latest vehicle technologies, including safety tracking and monitoring systems.
A fleet of 26 buses, including a special one for disabled passengers, operates between residences, all UCT campuses and some public bus, train and parking facilities in the local vicinity.
Jammie Shuttle buses operate according to a strictly controlled schedule, available on weekdays, weekends and holidays, both during term times and vacations. It also includes a late night service.

Auxiliary services
The Jammie Shuttle service is available for hire to the UCT community, including faculties and departments, for use during functions, field trips and other occasions. This is subject to availability.
It is also available for hire to external organisations and the rest of the Cape Town community.
